Information for our guests

So close to New York City, yet so far away! Rhinebeck/Rhinecliff is an easy 1 hour 40 min train from New York Penn Station and 100 miles via car. Rufflands Farm is about a 15-20 minute car ride from the Rhinecliff Train Station.

***Please make sure to take a look at the "Guest Information" section regarding attire, etc.***

Driving directions

From downtown Rhinebeck:

-Go east on Market Street (NY-308) for 6.2 miles

-You'll literally see a large fork in the road! (No kidding!), go straight onto NY-199 for 1.1 miles

-Turn left on County Road 54/Milan Hill Road

-About .8 miles, the farm will be on your right (Rufflands Farm)

***I HIGHLY suggest printing out or writing down directions from where you will be staying to Rufflands Farm. Cell service can be spotty in some areas, so don't depend only on your phone's GPS. Depending on where you are staying, things can be "in the middle of nowhere", so don't depend on technology alone. Believe me, I learned this the hard way!***

About the venue and reception

Rufflands Farm is a working 268-acre farm in the Hudson Valley that dates back to the mid 19th century. Since Rufflands is a working farm, it has sheep and their lambs, cows and their calves, and goats and their kids. There is a trout stream and five different ponds stocked with koi, catfish, and bass. The majority of the animals are off in the distance contained on specific fields and pastures on the vast property.

Word to the wise: Don't forget your allergy medicine! :)

An extended cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres will take place outdoors on the grass. Dinner and dancing will be held in the beautiful old hay barn located a short walk away. There's also an awesome firepit for after hours kumbaya time! Though the farm is expansive, our events and revelry will be relatively contained.
